Night Scythe is a Necron airborne transport unit.

Description

The Night Scythe is the Necrons' favoured tool of invasion, a sickle-winged herald of woe that possesses the ability to beam Necrons directly into battle. Manoeuvrable enough to evade orbital defences and interceptors, and swift enough to outpace mustering foes, Night Scythes can ghost through a defence perimeter to deploy invasion forces well behind enemy lines.

Twin-Linked Tesla Destructor Tesla: Increases the attacks. Heavy: Reduces the accuracy after moving. Twin-Linked: Increases the accuracy. Upgrade: Viridian Discharge Increases the armour penetration of tesla weapons.

Traits

Flyer: Can fly over cliffs, water and enemy units. Cannot capture artefacts or outposts. Ignores zone of control of enemy ground units. Cannot be hit by ground melee weapons and are hard to hit by ground weapons without skyfire. No penalty for heavy and ordnance weapons.

Invasion Beams: Disembarking does not consume movement.

Living Metal: Restores hitpoints each turn.

Transport: Allows transportation of infantry units.

Vehicle: Negates the penalty for heavy and ordnance weapons. Increases the movement penalty in forests and imperial ruins.
