Tiger Shark is a T'au flying super-heavy fighter-bomber unit equipped with maximum firepower. (Only with Escalation Pack DLC)

Description

The Tiger Shark is a large aircraft deployed in a fighter bomber role. Often encountered flying in support of T'au Hunter cadres during major operations, the Tiger Shark's main role appears to be the deployment of drones although, more recently, those armed with multiple seeker missiles have also been encountered. Efforts by the Adeptus Mechanicus to recover damaged Tiger Shark craft from battlefields have been met by fierce resistance by T'au Empire forces, as well as by certain elements of the Inquisition.

Weapons

Twin-Linked Ion Cannon (Standard) Heavy: Reduces the accuracy after moving. Twin-Linked: Increases the accuracy. Upgrade: Mor'tonium Accelerators Increases the armour penetration of fusion, ion, plasma and pulse weapons.

Twin-Linked Missile Pod Assault: Classification. Twin-Linked: Increases the accuracy. Upgrade: Blast Phasing Increases the armour penetration of flame and missile weapons.

Burst Cannon Assault: Classification. Upgrade: Brachyuran Assemblies Increases the armour penetration of burst and rail weapons.

Actions

Seeker Missile Seeker missiles are one-shot weapons usually guided to their targets by markerlights, though they can be fired independently as well. Free action Consumes movement Cooldown: 5 Technology: Seeker Missile Heavy: Reduces the accuracy after moving. Upgrade: Blast Phasing: Increases the armour penetration of flame and missile weapons.

Traits

Flyer: Can fly over cliffs, water and enemy units. Cannot capture artefacts or outposts. Ignores zone of control of enemy ground units. Cannot be hit by ground melee weapons and are hard to hit by ground weapons without skyfire. No penalty for heavy and ordnance weapons.

Strafing Run: Increases the ranged accuracy against ground units.

Super-Heavy: Classification.

Vehicle: Negates the penalty for heavy and ordnance weapons. Increases the movement penalty in forests and imperial ruins.

Networked Markerlight: Increases the ranged accuracy and ranged damage reduction bypass. The unit's attacks do not benefit from or consume Target Acquired.
